Two-tone Alice top
A few weeks ago, I sewed a two-tone top! I love this top and it’s fun and comfy at the same time.
To make this two-tone top, I used Jalie‘s Alice pattern. The pattern has diagonal cuts, a V-neck and 2 options for the bottom hem. The pattern is very well explain and the top fits well. Like all Jalie patterns, there are 28 sizes available for girls and women.
To make the top, I choose a rayon poplin with a beautiful drape, in the colour sand and clay. I think the colours go well together and I really like wearing it with a black leggings, it makes a nice outfit! The only thing that isn’t so great about this fabric is that it creases easily, and I don’t like ironing each time I want to wear it. 🙂
This pattern is quiet simple and easy to assemble so it is great for beginners!
Here are the details:

I made size P and I decided not to do the keyhole back, even though the pattern said it was mandatory for size P! I didn’t make it because my head fits well (and I was kinda lazy).
I use:
- Dobby Poppy fabric that I bought at Club Tissus in colours sand and clay
- The Alice pattern from Jalie
