Today, I am so exited to share with you a big macrame wall hanging! This project took me forever to make (about 6 months!).

I am really happy how it turned out and I am so proud that I was able to make a large macrame. I have already made a few macrame wall hanging before but they were really small compared to this one.

I had a bit of trouble with the X shape because it is very hard to make sure it will end up straight and will connect with the rest, I had to redo it a few times…but it was definitely worth it!

This design is from my favourite macrame book : Macrame by Fanny Zedenius. I love this book because the instructions are really clear and the designs are so pretty. If you’re looking for a macrame book I, definitely recommend this one!

Here are the details:

This wall hanging is 75cm by 130cm.

I used :

• 250m of 4mm macrame cord
• The book Macrame by Fanny Zedenius
• A 1m long wooden dowel
