The Bonnie Romper
Today, I am so excited to share one of my latest projet: The Bonnie Romper by Jalie! I don’t know about you but I love wearing jumpsuits in the summer. They are so comfortable to wear when it is hot outside and I don’t need to pick a shirt and pants in the morning which just saves me a lot of time and energy 😂.
Last fall, Jalie (my favourite pattern brand) came out with a new collection and, in that collection, they had a lot of pretty patterns but the one that I really liked was the Bonnie. When I saw it on there website, I knew I had to make it. This pattern is available from size 2 years old to 5X. Like always the pattern was clear, easy to follow and the jumpsuit fits perfectly.
This jumpsuit is made with a knit fabric which makes it even more comfortable. I chose a Modal jersey by Poppy because I really liked the print and the drape of the fabric.
I also love all the little details of this jumpsuit: the neckline, the pockets, the elastic at the waist, and the bodice is lined.
Here are the details:
I made size P with no adjustment. If I was going to make this again, I would just add the bra strap in the strap like the pattern suggests because my straps got stretched out over time.
